Measuring Uptime

At MijnHostingPartner.nl we have a very good uptime of the websites. This is partly due to our stable platform and the regular updates we perform. This way we always keep up with the latest technology and we can ensure that our uptime is as high as possible with 99.99%.Various tools are available to monitor uptime. For example, a scheduled task can be created in the control panel. This can be done with the option check website availability within your Hosting. There are also a number of different online tools to monitor this if you prefer to monitor this via an external party.
When it may happen that we have maintenance for example, we always report it in advance in the announcements on the website. And we use social media to notify our customers.

A good option for this is uptime robot. This is a free tool where you can monitor up to 50 domains with the free account. If you want more features or more domains then a paid account for this is something to consider. The free version can remember up to 2 months of logs and has no SMS or phone call option.
We often receive error messages from customers with Uptime. When everything is ok with your website you should get a 200 OK back. If an automatic update of, for example, a WordPress hosting website causes a 500 error, you will also see this in the status code. Such error messages are not related to our Uptime guarantee. Since this is website related.

We always recommend to keep a close eye on automatic updates. And put extra logging on it.
Should you have any further questions about uptime you can always create a ticket towards the helpdesk or start an online chat. Uptime remains one of the main goals of a hoster and we always take care of it almost immediately.
