Our renewed knowledge base

If you've been using our services for a while then you'll probably be familiar with our knowledge base. Here we have all kinds of manuals and tips on how to install certain content management systems such as WordPress.

It also contains more general information such as answers to frequently asked questions, so you can find answers to questions about hosting, for example.Last Friday we put our new knowledge base live, in this blog post we will discuss what exactly has changed.

What has changed

The first thing you'll probably notice when you visit the knowledge base is that everything is much more compact and organized. We are now using sub categories, take for example the email category which previously had two sub categories called email setup and calendar. In our new knowledge base there are also the categories of hosted exchange, contact forms and Pushmail, so navigating the knowledge base has become a bit more general and more importantly much clearer.

Also you might have seen the category called first steps this is a category we created for new customers. It can be quite a search when you're just a customer with us to find everything, we understand very well that here possibly quite some time can sit. This is why we have created this category, if you press that category you will see a number of articles that give you a push in the right direction.

We have also greatly improved our search function, if you type in something you will no longer have to press enter to search.Instead the results are loaded while you are still typing, this makes the search function a lot faster, easier and more user friendly to use.

Another thing we have incorporated in the background is that we can now edit articles much easier, so if something is not right we can change it almost immediately. This is not only good for you but also for the person responsible for the knowledge base, so they can quickly and efficiently address. Now that we have put the new knowledge base live, we would also like to hear what you think of it.

If you have any further suggestions or questions you can pass them on via the chat to one of our staff members. If there is no one on the chat, you can use the ticket system and the employees responsible for the knowledge base will pick it up.
