Webmail update

Dear Customer,

On the night of August 21-22, 2017, we updated the webmail to the latest version. Unfortunately, there is still a delay in working with the webmail at this time. After further contact with the vendor, it appears that processes are still updating in the background. This process can take up to 24 hours, so we still have to wait before we can take further action.

We understand that this can be annoying. We therefore recommend that you briefly set up your mail in a local email client such as Windows 10 Mail or Outlook. Here the problems are not present.

Update 11-9-2017 - 14:30: Unsubscribe.
All work and processes are completed and ready. Everything is functioning as it should again.

All performance issues have been resolved. For some mailboxes it can occur that data is not visible yet. There is still a process running in the background, at the end of the day these boxes will be back in order.

Update 10-9-2017
Tonight there will be maintenance from 05:00 to 07:30. During this period you may experience some inconvenience in reaching the webmail and possibly the imap connections.

Update 8-9-2017
Last Thursday the last hardware was added to relieve the load. Unfortunately the synchronization is also taking longer than expected. Today the last things will be configured and tomorrow the problems with the webmail will be a thing of the past. Throughout the day you may experience inconvenience due to the work. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Next week Tuesday and Thursday the permanent solutions will be applied. After this, the problems will be a thing of the past.

There has been further contact with the software supplier but unfortunately this has not yet led to a solution. It is being checked remotely by the supplier to solve the bugs and speed as soon as possible.

For customers who do want to access the webmail with different devices then we recommend to set the account of MijnHostingPartner.nl to outlook.com or gmail.com. This can be done in the following ways:

The processes are still ongoing. We notice and hear from many customers that it is getting better every day. So per domain, things are getting better and better. Keep checking this notification for updates.

The background processes are still running. We are noticing an improvement in speed each time and will update this notification again when completed.

The webmail is unfortunately still not fast. All accounts need to be synchronized which takes more time than expected. After further contact with the software vendor, it has come out that there is nothing we can do to speed this up. We will have to wait and hope that the accounts will be synchronized in a few days.

We are sorry it happened this way but unfortunately we had no choice not to update to the latest version. We were attacked in such a way that the previous version simply could not handle it anymore. We decided to perform the update so at least mail traffic could take place. If we had not performed this update we would have been without mail for a long period of time. Which is not acceptable.

We will keep you updated from this announcement when more is known.
