What should I specify as host (hostname)?

Please note! We get a lot of questions about the host of the MS SQL, this is not a localhost.

To find the host of your database you can follow these steps. Make sure you are logged into your controlpanel account, then click on SQL server 2016 (this can also be 2014 or 2012)

Then click on your database.

Next you will see the host of your database.
