Wordpress Another update is currently in progress
*note*Before you start thismakea backup of your website, if it goes wrong then it can be restored within seconds, you can do this in the following way:makebackup.
Sometimes it can happen that you get an error message when updating WordPress, the message "Another update is currently in progress."
You should then further save and extract the latest version of WordPress locally, for this example we will use WinRar.
Next you will see a folder called WordPress.
Connect to your website via FTP, how to do that can be found in the following article: How do I make an FTP connection?
Then overwrite the files.
You will now see that you are using the latest version of WordPress, you can also see this in your admin page.
