Concrete 5 installation

Concrete 5 is a popular CMS that can also be installed at MijnHostingPartner.nl. You can install it via the web app gallery or directly via FTP. This article discusses the method via the web app gallery.

In the control panel you can navigate to the web app gallery and look up Concrete 5 in the list.





You will then get the next screen where you have to enter some data. Here you select the website where you want Concrete 5 to be installed.

You can complete the database data, use a strong password for this. For example one from the password generator:

The database can be new or an already existing one, the choice is further up to you.







After a few minutes the installation will be completed for the necessary files, after this you will see the following screen:




Click on Launch Concrete 5, this will take you to the domain name to complete the installation.

Select your preferred language.





In the next screen of the installation of Concrete 5 we check if the hosting space meets the requirements. If you have not made any changes to the site yet, you will see that write permissions still need to be granted.

After the changes you can continue with the installation by pressing Continue installation.







In the last step of the installation you create the administrator data (indicated with a red line). Again choose a strong password.
Also enter the title at Site Name.

You can ignore the database information.








The installation process may take a while.




When finished you can go to the site.
