My domain name is in quarantine, now what?

If you unexpectedly forget to pay the invoice, it is possible that your domain name will be released by the system after some time. Many providers have agreed that there must be an overlapping period to give the owner of the domain name the opportunity to get his domain name back.

This overlapping phase, which is also called quarantine, differs per domain extension, but lasts on average 40 days. To get a domain name out of quarantine there are costs involved. These costs also vary per extension and it also differs if we have had the domain name in our possession or if we need to get the domain name out of quarantine with another provider.

Below are the most common extensions and the amounts required to have this done. If the extension you want is not listed then you can contact us via a ticket to the administration.
