Change FTP landing folder

The home folder within an FTP account can be set as desired. However, the default folder that is set is the home folder, or the top branch in your hosting space. If you have already created subdomains it will look like this:

If you want to change this to a specific folder you can set this up as follows.

Step 1. Login to the control panel with your credentials at the following url:

https://control.mijnhostingpartner.nl/

Step 2. navigate to FTP accounts

Step 3. select the FTP account

Step 4. Change the folder you want to land in when you make the connection to your folder.

Here we change the folder to the wwwroot of the website.

If you then connect via FTP with FileZilla, for example, you will be taken directly to the selected folder. You will no longer have access to the parent folders with this account. This can always be changed by following this step again.
