SMTP Server Offline (Apple users)

Dear Customer,

More and more we notice that due to bugs and/or wrongly configured mail accounts, the SMTP server is often unreachable. Especially Apple users often have a large SMTP list, which causes the software to "run out of steam" and the SMTP server to be offline despite the fact that the correct settings are used.

Because such a problem is caused by a bug in the mail software MijnHostingPartner.nl does not consider this to be a service for which it should take responsibility. Our advice to you is to remove all SMTP items that are set to offline. Then you need to restart the system and add the SMTP server to the SMTP server list.

In almost all cases this has led to a solution. In case this didn't lead to the desired result, I request you to contact your hardware/software supplier. If you would like us to solve the problem for you, we will charge you for this.

On average it will take us 15 to 30 minutes to perform this action, where we take over your screen. We charge a fixed fee of €50,00 excluding VAT. If we do not succeed in getting the SMTP server working, this amount will not be charged. It is therefore on a "no cure, no pay" basis.

For a solution you will have to contact your hardware/software supplier or manufacturer.
