Outlook - Mail attachment too large

Within Outlook, it may be the case that you are more likely to run into message size limits. By default MijnHostingPartner.nl supports email messages with a size of 50 MB. However, within Outlook you can get this message much earlier. This is an error that can be solved with regedit, this can be solved in the following way.

1. Close Outlook

2. Launch Registry Editor, or regedit directly at Windows Run.

3. Find the following entries in Registry Editor:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER_OutlookPreferences

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\ x.0 \Outlook\Preferences

Where x.0 corresponds to your Outlook version.

4. Adjust the following value to increase the attachments to 50 MB:

Value type: DWORD

Value name: MaximumAttachmentSize

Value data: 512000

Can also be set to 0, however, our limit remains in place, and thus will run the risk of not being sent as soon as an attempt is made to send above 50 MB.

5. After this, after saving the changes, is to close regedit, and then restart Outlook to try this again.
