Set up another email account Outlook.com

The Outlook.com webmail can also be used with a MijnHostingPartner.nl mail account. We deliberately did not write an article for this for a while since only POP was supported with a half hour delay. After an update in 2017 it is now also possible to use an IMAP connection. This ensures that mail is also synchronized between different devices and works faster.

1) You open outlook.com and log in with your existing Microsoft account. Then go to the options on the left and select the following:




2 ) After this you specify the mail account in the fields, where the display name can be filled in by yourself. Mail address and password must be created via the control panel.

3) At the connection method you always select the IMAP and SMTP connection settings and click OK to continue.





4) After this you enter the data in the following way. The IMAP host and SMTP host is always as shown in the screenshot.
