Password Generator

Passwords are constantly being filled in and for online use it's hard to imagine life without them. It is therefore important to use strong passwords for the security of your data and your website. At MijnHostingPartner.nl we have strong requirements for a password. It happens too often that there are customers who use passwords like "password12" and "Welkom45" etc. This is not a good move.

We realize that sometimes it can be difficult to come up with a password. Therefore, we have developed the password generator that can be used by anyone. This is a tool we use ourselves all the time when creating hosting spaces and when doing installations for clients. This way we always keep the passwords unique and safe.

In the password generator you have a few options to create a password.

As you can see you can select how many characters you want for the password. When you want to create an email account you can default to 12 characters. We require 12 characters for an email account password. If you are creating a MySQL database or an administrator password it is wise to select 24 characters. For your database you will not need this often in general. So this password can be very strong without any hindrance.

Furthermore, the type of characters can be selected, for certain passwords it is not desirable to have foreign characters in it. There is a chance that it will not be recognized. For example, a / is not accepted in the databases.

Now comes the question: how do I remember these tricky passwords?

This is a question for which several solutions exist. You can store it in a safe place offline or use a password tool. Even with ' 7 Zip' you can create a compressed folder where you keep the passwords. On this folder is then a master password set with AES - 256 encryption. Tip: Do not save this online!
