If you're into websites a lot then you've probably heard of or used WordPress.WordPress is the most popular Content Management System out there. It is used on 30 percent of all websites. So the chances are pretty good that you also use WordPress.

On November 5, 2018, WordPress announced that they have put the beta version of WordPress 5 live. This allows you to test the latest version of WordPress, but it is not recommended to use this version for your website.

What's New?

The biggest change is the new text editor called Gutenberg. This will of course take some getting used to but it is a big improvement for your WordPress Hosting.

You no longer have to wait to see what your content will look like but Gutenberg works with a block system. This is not only easier to use but you can also immediately see what happens to your content, so you don't have to wait anymore. It could be that you don't want to use this editor at all, luckily there is a plug-in that makes it possible to use the old WordPress editor.

Also it is now possible to crop your background image before it goes live, so you don't have to do that manually anymore. They have also improved optimization for mobile websites, which is very important because in 60 percent of the cases the website is visited by mobile users.
